Synopsis
Following their Oscar win for critically acclaimed indie music flick Once, John & Keiran Carney chose to eshew Hollywood and make this hilarious, light-hearted comedy that is destined for cult status. Zonad is taken in by the Cassidy family and is soon accepted by the quiet village of Ballymoran as an alien. Actually an escaped convict, Zonad’s comfortable existence of drinking and wooing the village’s women is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Bonad. Zonad himself will be in attendence at the screening alongside the directors.
