Synopsis

The late Stieg Larsson could not have predicted how globally popular his books about a world weary journalist and edgygoth hacker would be. This adaptation sees Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace reprise their roles for the final time, with the latter inhabiting the character of Lisbeth Salander so perfectly it’s hard to imagine anyone else playing the part. Here we find Salander recovering in hospital after being shot and about to face trial for murder. Blomkvist and his researchers try to prove her innocence while Lisbeth plots her own revenge.
