Synopsis
Indie auteur Adam Wingard’s previous film Popskull opened Fanomenon in 2008 and this year we’re proud to present his new disturbing horror drama A Horrible Way to Die. Garrick, an escaped murderer, is in pursuit of his ex-girlfriend, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Emotionally fragile Sarah has started a new life in a distant small town, hiding her dark secret that isabout to resurface in a most horrible way. An expert in capturing a sense of fear and translating it to the screen, Wingard uses non-linear narrative to unsettle and build the feeling of dreadful inevitability that is certain to disturb.
